10 Soccer Players That Should Have Their Own drama series

Although he moved on from Manchester City unceremoniously to AC Milan, the Italian striker has always been and still remains an eccentric character and downright immature at times. recently, world fastest man Usain Bolt took a swipe at Baloteli saying that "he is not a nice guy"
There has been several on-field incidents from Balotelli which are certainly...different, to put it nicely.
Balotelli has also gained a reputation for being an extrovert for many of his off-field antics.
He was famously involved in a car crash just days after joining Manchester City and was carrying £5,000 cash with his explanation being, "Because I am rich."

For Joey Barton, a soap opera is probably not the best description; crime drama would be more apt.
The former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder was recently acquired by the Queens Park Rangers and appears to have cleaned up his act somewhat after a troubled past.
He has been convicted twice on charges of violence. In 2008, he was sentenced to six months imprisonment of which he served 77 days.
Although a decent player, Barton will unfortunately be remembered for his antics off the pitch.

Former Manchester United glamour boy Cristiano Ronaldo is now tearing it up with Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.
The Portuguese international is a true global superstar of the game.
With his pretty boy looks, flashy skills and occasional dramatic reactions on the field, he is a player who is never far from the headlines.

An obvious choice for this list is global superstar David Beckham.
Although a world-class footballer during his time at Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham the brand has become bigger than Beckham the footballer.
He and his family moved to the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, where Beckham now plays his football, and he has had his fair share of personal dramas over the years.
His life has played out like a real-life TV drama. We hear that the recently retired superstar will earn more money at retirement!! whao!! what a fairy-tale real life drama.
Our own home boy, peter osaze odemwengie has also been in the eye of the storm. somehow Osaze has a way of bringing himself to national and international spotlight with his apparent outburst via his twitter handle. from his episode with Samson Siasia to Keshi and on to Westbrom to QPR, the saga seems to be endless, who knows what "fine boy" osaze will pull up again. well, soccer2theworld is waiting and watching. Congratulations osas for making our top ten list.

Former England captain John Terry is another player who has been in the spotlight his whole career for all sorts of reasons.
Usually, it is good press for the popular defender who has been a stalwart of the Chelsea and England defence over the last decade.
But, Terry, who is married with two children, faced allegations a couple of years ago that he had an affair, which led to him being stripped of the England captaincy.
The allegations were proved to be false and he was reinstated as skipper, but these situations seem to follow high-profile footballers.

Manchester United always has one player who steals the spotlight in the eyes of the fans and media.
In recent years, it has been David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, but that mantle has now been passed on to Wayne Rooney.
Rooney has been a huge target for media attention during his professional career.
The man himself is definitely not the soap-opera type, but his personal life has certainly played out that way.Remember his one time threesome without top english hookers?

A big physical presence on the field, Didier Drogba is one of the most well known soccer players in world football.
The Ivorian international has had a wonderful career. But, more importantly, he has used his position to do a lot of good things off the field to help restore some peace to his war-torn country.
What Drogba has done both on and off the field has not quite been fully acknowledged yet, but when people look back on the good things he achieved, his efforts will be appreciated.
Carlos "calito" Teves is not new to controversies, in fact he seems to thrive in controversies that will make for a nice drama or soap opera.his drama piece is endless from boca juniors to corinthians to west ham to manchester united and now manchester city. carlos has created masterpieces of drama with nearly everyone you can think of in his career. even Roberto Mancini once said that carlos' career at man city is finished but today, carlos is having the last laugh. he even played golf at some point...congratulations for making our list.

Uruguayan Luis Suarez has been at Liverpool for less than a year but has already made a big splash.
He has quickly become one of the most recognisable players in the English Premier League. And, at 24, he looks set for a long career under the spotlight of the British media.
With his profile growing all the time, Suarez has the footballing world at his feet.
On the field, he needs to get more consistent, but he could very well be the man who leads Liverpool back to their former glory.
Well we said top ten but this one is a little "jara". Neymar who recently joined barca kept us on a wild goose chase of where his future lies. denial upon denial then finally he was unveiled to barca fans and the world press. however his new team mates have warned him that at the camp nou LEO (messi) is king.

okay followers, lets read what you have to say about this top ten. be sure that we will do another series of this piece very soon.
