Super eagles fast rising defensive stalwart Efe Ambrose has talked about his growing confidence in playing a key role in the heart of the Celtic defence line up. The 24 year old who has had limited time recuperate from a recent injury is back in the fray for the UEFA champions league qualifing round.
Quoting him, "I feel great even when i was back in Nugeria i was still preparing myself, training and working hard so i could walk into the team ans start playing as i know there was no time for me to go through pre season". After starring against the Reds in belfast, Ambrose was also in action in the win over Brentford at the weekend. And just to further confirm his rising profile, the defender got one of the goals in the 2-1 victory over Cliftonville during a UEFA champios league qualifier.
He certainly is getting better by the day and one only hopes that his form appreciates in time for the coming mundial.
